George Town Police Station (GTPS) is centrally located in the capital of the Cayman Islands, and can be found on Elgin Avenue next to the Government Administrative Building.
GTPS’s geographic area is surrounded by the northern border of Government House on the West Bay Road and the western border of Spotts Newlands on Shamrock Road.
George Town is the largest policing area (by population and diversity) and is the busiest in terms of calls for services.
George Town is home to the financial district, the Legislative Assembly, the Law Courts, Customs and Immigration services as well as most other Government offices.
It also includes the Owen Roberts International Airport and Sea Port facilities that bring tens of thousands of visitors to Grand Cayman every week of the year.
Chief Inspector Frank Owens is the Area Commander for George Town.
