ROBBERY- Shedden Road, George Town

At approximately 9.10pm on Saturday 28 July 2012 police received a report of a robbery at Freestyle Men’s Apparel store, 3227 Shedden Road, GT.   

Several police departments attended the location and made a search of the surrounding areas without trace of the suspect. 

The circumstances are a lone male entered the store carrying a machete and threatened a female store employee. The male left a short time later carrying a small quantity of cash. There were no other persons in the store at the time. 

The suspect is described as 5’ 8” in height, slim build, dark complexion. He was wearing dark clothing, long sleeve shirt, he also had on a bicycle helmet with a handkerchief covering his face. 

No persons were injured in the incident. 

Police enquiries continue and police once again appeal for anyone who has information in relation to the robbery to come forward, information can be passed to George Town CID on 949-4222, the RCIPS tip-line 949-7777 or Crime Stoppers on 800-8477(TIPS).
