The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service is now accepting applications of the position of Chief Firearms Officer.
The Chief Firearms Officer will be responsible for managing and leading the Firearms Response Unit inclusive of strategic planning, directing and monitoring day-to-day investigations and preventative services and will serve as subject matter expert in mission planning, defensive/non-lethal force tactics, emergency medical care, suspect apprehension and control techniques, risk management, security awareness and threat prevention, surveillance and surveillance detection in alignment with the strategic goals of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service and the mission of the Cayman Islands.
