The RCIPS would like to remind the public of some safety steps they can take to reduce their chances of becoming victims of crime and stay safe while enjoying their festivities and family time.
Bodden Town Police Station (BTPS) serves as the hub for general policing of the Eastern Districts of Grand Cayman, which includes Bodden Town, East End and North Side. However, in 2017 the sub-stations in North Side and East End re-opened and serve as the location from which local community officers in those districs operate. The BTPS is the only 24-hour station in the districts, but the sub-stations are generally open during business hours. Direct contact can be made with beat officers in North Side and East End through their pages on this website, or by contacting the Bodden Town police station directly.
Police Inspector Fernando Soto has been appointed as the new Area Commander for the Eastern Districts. He succeeds Inspector Winsome Prendergast in this position who retired from the RCIPS in January 2019.
