In addition to its policing duties, the RCIPS performs regulatory and administrative functions in the realm of safety management for the general public. These functions require procedures and forms to be completed by different units throughout the organization, with the majority of these being processed by either the Criminal Records Office or Security and Licensing Unit at the RCIPS Business Centre. Other offices, such as those of our Information Manager and Chief of Staff, also receive and process forms within their specific remit. The RCIPS strives to reduce bureaucracy and wait times for the public to take care of its business matters; in an effort to streamline these processes, some forms are now available via this website for completion online and submission directly to the office responsible for managing and responding to them. In the case of Security and Licensing forms, they are available here for completion, after which they can be printed out and brought into the Criminal Records Office. The forms are grouped according to categories below.
