On Friday 24 May, the RCIPS Community Policing Department was invited to attend the Bodden Town Primary School’s Career Day. The event was open to other schools in the Eastern Districts and the Savannah Primary School as well as the East End Primary School was in attendance.

Representatives from the Joint Marine Unit and the K-9 Unit attended the fair with the Community Police Officers. The event was very well attended and children got a chance to have a tour of the boat as well as a try at the ATV. They asked questions about being police officers and the tried out some of the police equipment.

The RCIPS would like to thank the organizers from the Bodden Town Primary School for including us. We hope to continue our partnerships with the schools in each respective beat.
