Submitting a Tip to the RCIPS

BEFORE YOU USE THIS FORM:

Only use this form to submit information on suspected crimes, or information you believe the police should know eg: anonymous tips.

Do not use this form to report a crime that you want to have investigated.  This form is not a substitute for filing an official report for which a formal investigation would be launched.

If you or someone you know is the victim of a crime, please dial 9-1-1 or contact your local police station to make a formal report.

In an emergency, always call 9-1-1.

If there is information you think we should know, please tell us. There are several different ways to do so, explained below. All information we receive is taken and evaluated seriously. The safety of the Cayman Islands is something we all build and protect together.

  • Online via this website: Please complete the form below with as much information as you can.  If you don't have all the information requested, it is perfectly fine to leave some fields blank. This form is anonymous unless you choose to provide us with a way to contact you in the last field provided. This website does not obtain or store identifying information about those who visit it or fill in this form.

    1. Images and video of up to 8MB can also be uploaded to this form and sent to us.  If you have a larger file than 8MB, you can email us for assistance or send a file-sharing link to pr@rcips.ky.

  • By phone: If you would prefer to leave a message on an anonymous voicemail, you can call us at the RCIPS Confidential Tip Line anytime at 949-7777. Again, you can leave a way to contact you on the voicemail if you wish, but it is not expected nor required.

  • Through a Third Party: If you prefer to send information through an entirely anonymous channel that is separate from the RCIPS or any other law enforcement, you can submit a tip to Cayman Crime Stoppers online at https://new.tipsubmit.com/en/create-report/anonymous/rcips.ky.  Rewards may be obtained through Cayman Crime Stoppers should your tip result in an arrest, charge or conviction for a crime, or if your tip recovers an illegal firearm or stolen property.  Cayman Crime Stoppers is entirely separate from the RCIPS and sets the levels of rewards on a case-by-case basis.  Information sent to Cayman Crime Stoppers is passed to the RCIPS, but the process is entirely anonymous.

Thank you for helping us protect the Cayman Islands.
