The Cayman Islands Regiment is the national military organisation of the Cayman Islands. As a Reservist, you will train alongside a disciplined team and be prepared to support the community during emergencies, national incidents, and disaster response.

From hurricane relief and community support to overseas training and operational deployments, CIR Reservists play an important role in protecting and serving the Cayman Islands.

You will:

Training Commitment:

Reservists balance service with their civilian careers.

Typical training includes:

• Regular training sessions each month
• A two-week annual training camp
• Additional opportunities to support operations and exercises

 

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly stipend starting at CI$14.82 per hour
• Paid military training and development
• Opportunities to deploy on operations and represent the Cayman Islands
• Unique skills and experiences that build confidence, leadership, and resilience

 

Requirements:

Applicants must:

  • Be between the agese of 18 and 55.
  • Be Caymanian or a Permanent Resident with the right to work.
  • Be willing to train, work as part of a team, and serve their community.
