A green SUV collided with a cyclist, knocking him off the bicycle, and then drove off. The cyclist was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital.
The driver of the SUV, a woman age 28 of George Town, subsequently surrendered to custody and was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident. She is currently on bail as investigations continue.
