Beat 8 - George Town

Due to the density of Beat 8, three (3) officers have been assigned as the community officers for the beat. These beat officers are SPC Michael Peart, PC Byron Morgan and AC Marvin Hinds.

These officers each bring several years of policing experience to this role. All three officers operate from the George Town Police Station, but spend the majority of their time out and about on their beat, meeting with residents as well as tourists and interacting with the business community.  They are already working with residents and businesses on issues of concern that they have identified, such as traffic offences on Harbour Drive.

The officers make themselves available each week at a location within their beat. Usually this location is the George Town Police Station or George Town Park, Martin Drive.  The Meeting and Events link below describes where the next open meet-and-greet will be held.
