Just after 9:30PM, on Friday, 24 June, police responded to a report of a burglary that took place at a business establishment located on Shedden Road in George Town. Shortly after their arrival, officers located a man who fit the description of the perpetrator. The man was searched and a drug utensil was found in his possession. The man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of a drug utensil and consumption of cocaine. He was kept in custody pending further investigation.

The man, age 47, of George Town, was subsequently charged with Burglary and Possession of a Drug Utensil. He is expected to appear in court today, 27 June.
