Yesterday, 26 June, the Community Policing Department launched a round of summertime community clinics around the island with its first event at West Bay Public Beach. Overall, the objective of the clinics is to provide the public with more opportunities to meet their beat officers, and for residents to let them know their most current concerns. About 30 members of the nearby community visited the officers' stand, including the Hon. McKeeva Bush, and received public safety pamphlets on a different topics, spoke with the beat officers, and took a survey.
Another clinic took place today in West Bay at Plaza del Sol, and one is set to take place tomorrow, 28 June, on Boatswain Bay Road.
Through the clinics West Bay police officers are also informing and inviting residents to join the Community Meeting in West Bay on 4 July with the Commissioner of Police.
Bodden Town Community Officers will also be holding clinics this Saturday, 29 July.
