On the afternoon of Tuesday, 16 August, officers conducted a search of an address in the North Sound Estates area of Bodden Town under the Misuse of Drugs Act. During the search, officers recovered several packages of suspected cocaine, along with suspected ganja, drug paraphernalia, and a quantity of cash. As a result, two men, ages 36 and 49 of Bodden Town were arrested on drug offenses.
The 49-year-old man has since been formally charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply. He appeared before the Court on Friday, 19 August, and was remanded until Tuesday, 23 August.
The 36-year-old man was granted bail as investigations continue.
