Early on the morning of Monday, 18 June, officers responded to a report of a burglary at the office of a local non-profit on North Sound Road in which the front glass door had been smashed. Evidence gathered at the scene led officers to identify a suspect whom they quickly found at a different location. The man, age 34 of George Town, was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He has now been formally charged with Burglary and Damage to Property.
He is appearing in court this morning, 20 June.
