A man, aged 45 of Bodden Town, was arrested on Friday, 6 April, and charged with two counts of Burglary and one count of Consumption of Cocaine.
The first Burglary charge stems from an incident on the morning of 3 April at a residence on Hirst Road, where a man entered the house and was discovered by one of the residents. The man then fled on foot, having taken a handbag containing a quantity of cash and some personal items.
The second Burglary charge and Consumption of Cocaine charge stem from an incident on 5 April where a man entered an address on Bodden Town Road, near Gun Square. The man attempted to take a mobile phone, but was confronted by a person on the premises at the time and fled on foot.
Upon his arrest the man also admitted to having consumed cocaine.
He is appearing in court today, 9 April.
