A man, aged 23 of George Town, has been arrested and formally charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm, Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, and Robbery. The charges relate to incidents which occurred on Sunday, 3 March: A robbery at the Czech Inn Restaurant in Bodden Town, and the following confrontation with police officers in which shots were fired. He is appearing in court this morning, 12 March.
