UPDATE (8 March):

Tashaena Williams & Taisiya Whittaker, who were reported missing on Wednesday, 5 March, have been located by police and appear to be in good health.

The RCIPS thanks the public for their assistance in this matter.

Initial Release (7 March):

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Tashaena Williams and 13-year-old Taisiya Whittaker.

Both girls were discovered to have absconded from their Bodden Town home at about 11:00PM yesterday, 5 March.

Tashana is described being around 5’7” to 5’8” in height, of slim build and dark skin, with long black braids. 

Taisiya is described being around 4’5” in height, and also of slim build and dark skin, with long black braids. 

Officers are encouraging Tashana and Taisiya to return home or attend the nearest police station immediately.

Members of the public are encouraged not to harbour them, but instead to call 911 immediately if they are seen, or if their whereabouts are known, for their safety. 

The RCIPS is reminding the public that anyone who harbours or conceals a young person, is guilty of an offense and is liable, on conviction, to being fined $2000 and to imprisonment for three months.  

Anyone with information their whereabouts is encouraged to call the Bodden Town Police Station at 927-2220 or the M.A.S.H Unit at 649-6000.
