Just after 6:35AM, today , 4 April, police and other emergency personnel were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist, in the vicinity of the CUC Roundabout on the Linford Pierson Highway.
The cyclist was attended to by the EMS and transported to the hospital where he was treated for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries and later released.
The driver of the vehicle, who collided with the cyclist, was warned for intended prosecution for the offense of careless driving and a full police investigation ensues.
