Yesterday morning, 24 January, officers performed an operation under the Misuse of Drugs Law at an address on King Road, West Bay. Upon arriving at the location, officers observed a man attempting to dispose of an item which was found to contain suspected ganja. An officer and police dog from the K-9 Unit conducted searches of the immediate area and recovered further quantities of suspected ganja in different locations.
The man, aged 38 of West Bay, was arrested on suspicion of Possession and Consumption of Ganja. He is now on police bail.
