It was reported that a man wearing a dirty white marina and shorts trespassed into the residential address, kicking down an interior door which hit a resident causing her minor injuries. He was carrying a machete at the time that he was seen and demanded money from the occupants. He left the location on foot with a quantity of cash, in an unknown direction.
Uniform and armed officers attended the location and made checks in the surrounding areas for the man, however he was not located.
The incident is being investigated by the Eastern Districts CID and detectives are encouraging anyone with information pertaining to this incident to call the Bodden Town Police Station at 947-2220.
