Shortly after midnight, this morning 18 September, police responded to a report of a robbery at a business premises located on Shamrock Road, in the vicinity of Selkirk Drive, where it was reported that a man armed with a machete attended the location and demanded cash from an employee.
The man was described as being tall, of slim build, and was wearing a mask covering his face, and dark clothing. After securing a quantity of cash, the man ran from the location. No one reported any injuries to the police as a result of this incident.
