Shortly after 1:00AM today, 26 June, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of a bar on Shedden Road just east of North Sound Road. It was reported that there was an altercation between multiple persons, during which shots were fired. Armed officers attended the location and conducted enquiries, during which a number of spent casings were recovered. Officers were also subsequently alerted to a vehicle which had received damage as a result of gunshots. The vehicle has been recovered by police to be forensically processed.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The matter is under investigation and anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or have any information, is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
