Just after 6AM today, 9 June, police responded to Her Majesty’s Cayman Islands Prison Service (HMCIPS), Northward, following a report made by the Director of Prisons concerning a member of staff. On arrival, two packages containing a quantity of ganja were handed over to the police and officers were informed that a prison officer was attempting to introduce the drugs into the prison.
