Shortly before 7:30PM on Saturday, 16 August, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a pharmacy in Centennial Towers in West Bay. It was reported that a masked man entered the business and then brandished a machete and demanded money from the workers there. The man then made off with a quantity of cash from the register. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as being about 5’3” in height, of slim build and dark complexion. He was wearing a dark-coloured long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, carrying a black backpack, and was wearing gloves, with what appeared to be a dark t-shirt covering his face.
The matter is currently under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact West Bay CID at 949-3999.
