Police Investigate Robbery Incident in George Town, 18 March

Just before 1AM on Sunday 17 March, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to Fort Street where it was reported that a man had been robbed.

 

Officers attended and spoke with a man who had obvious injuries to his face and body. The ambulance attended the location and the man was transported to the hospital to be treated for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

 

The man informed the officers that he had been attacked by two men and a woman and that his wallet was stolen. In his wallet was a quantity of cash in both KYD and USD as well as a variety of bank cards.

 

The matter is being investigated by the police and anyone with information is being encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
