Police Investigate Serious Collision Involving Three Vehicles, 2 September

Just after 7:30AM on Monday, 1 September, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of a motor vehicle collision, involving three vehicles, at the junction of Shamrock Road and Condor Road.

 

The collision took place when a vehicle traveling along Condor Road exited the junction onto Shamrock Road turning right, and collided with a heavy-duty vehicle that was headed eastbound on Shamrock Road. The Impact of the collision pushed the heavy-duty vehicle into another vehicle that was heading westbound on Shamrock Road, causing this vehicle to collide with a concrete structure and wooden fence.

 

Three persons involved in the collision was transported to the hospital by ambulance to be assessed by the doctor. Two of the three were treated for minor injuries and released, while the third person sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was later also released.

 

The collision is being investigated by the police and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Traffic and Roads Policing Unit during business hours at 649-6254.
