Police Investigate Serious Wounding Incident in George Town, 29 April

Just after 3:30AM on Friday, 26 April, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to Eastern Avenue, George Town, where it was reported that a man who sustained a stab wound after patronising a bar located in the area, ran into a business establishment for assistance.

 

The injured man was assisted by the Emergency Medical Services personnel and transported to the hospital where he was treated for what is believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries and later released.

 

The incident is being investigated by the police and detectives are seeking for witnesses to come forward and provide information on this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
