Just before 11:00 PM on Tuesday, 15 September, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of a medical emergency occurring at a residence off Boltins Avenue in West Bay.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) attended the location along with the police and immediately began CPR on an 18-year-old male who was experiencing complications.
The male was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased. The RCIPS offers its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
The circumstances of his passing are being investigated by the police.
