Just after 9:50PM yesterday, 11 May, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of an aggravated burglary at a residence located on Anthony Drive in George Town.
It was reported that two masked men dressed in black clothing and brandishing handguns, entered the residence, demanded money and assaulted the resident of the address. The men fled the location prior to the police being called. The injured man was transported to the hospital for treatment. Nothing was stolen from the location and no other injuries were reported to the police as a result of this incident.
