At approximately 10:00 PM on Friday, 28 February, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in North Sound Estates, Bodden Town. During the search, officers located and recovered a loaded handgun.
As a result, a 33-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, both from Bodden Town, were arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm.
Both individuals remain in police custody as investigations continue.
The RCIPS remains committed to removing illegal firearms and drugs from the streets and encourages the public to report any suspicious activity. Anyone with information is urged to contact the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
