Shortly after 9:30PM on Monday, 9 February, officers responded to a report of a collision on North Church Street, north of Bodden Road, involving a Mini Roadster and a Yamaha Crypton motorcycle. The collision occurred when the Yamaha was travelling southbound and the Mini, which had been travelling northbound, was carrying out a turn.
The rider of the motorcycle received serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Anthony S. Eden Hospital, where he remains being treated. The driver of the Mini did not report any injury, and was breath-tested with negative result.
The matter remains under investigation.
