On Wednesday, 2 September, at approximately 6:30PM, police and emergency services responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Esterley Tibbetts Highway, in the vicinity of Safehaven Drive.
It is reported that while the vehicle was travelling southbound along Esterley Tibbetts Highway, it left the roadway and collided with a utility pole.
The driver, who was attended to by emergency services and transported to the hospital, is reported to be in serious but stable condition.
A lane closure was temporarily implemented as officers processed the scene and repair work was conducted on the utility pole.
