On Monday, 21 September, at approximately 4:50PM, police and other emergency services responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a Honda Fit and a truck on Bodden Town Road, in the vicinity of Bronte Way.
The driver of the Honda Fit and the driver of the truck, along with three passengers, were transported to the hospital. All five remain at the hospital.
The driver of the Honda Fit is believed to have sustained serious injuries. The driver and passengers of the truck are being treated for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
A police cordon that was put in place on the westbound lane of Bodden Town Road, in the vicinity of Bronte Way, has been lifted. Both lanes are now open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
The collision remains under investigation by the Traffic and Road Policing Unit.
