Police Seek Assistance to Locate Wanted Man, Rolan Murphy Welcome, 7 November

Police are requesting public assistance in locating Rolan Murphy Welcome, age 33 of East End.

 

Welcome is wanted in relation to multiple offenses, including burglary, in the East End area. He is described as being of brown complexion, with short dark hair and brown eyes. He also has a tattoo on his left hand and scars on his neck. A photo is attached.

 

Additionally, he is encouraged to turn himself in to the Cayman Islands Detention Centre, or the nearest active police station, at any time, day or night.

 

The public is reminded that according to the Police Act (2021 Revision), it is an offense to obstruct, mislead or act in such a way as to prevent the apprehension of a person who has committed an offense.  If prosecuted under this section, you may be liable on conviction to a fine of $5000 or imprisonment for two years or both.

 

Police are encouraging anyone with information on Welcome’s whereabouts to contact 9-1-1, or Bodden Town CID at 947-2220.
