The RCIPS would like to ensure that the public are aware of the phone numbers to reach police on Cayman Brac or Little Cayman at any time of day.
First, the RCIPS would like to repeat that, during an emergency, members of the public should always call 9-1-1.
Cayman Brac:
The Cayman Brac Police Station on Ivory Lane is open seven days a week, including during the night, but may be locked at times outside normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM) when officers are responding to calls. During these times officers can be reached via the mobile phone indicated below.
24 Hour Police Line: 926-0635
CB Police Station Direct Line: 948-0331
Generally, members of the public should be able to contact police through the Cayman Brac Police Station direct line, but whenever this line does not answer or is busy, the public should dial the 24 Hour number to reach police.
Little Cayman:
Likewise, the Little Cayman Police Station on Spot Bay Road is also open seven days a week, but is locked when the officer on duty is responding to a call. Those calling the police station after hours should call the police station general number first, then try the mobile numbers of the officers:
Little Cayman Police Station Direct Line 948-0100
PC Lloyd Anderson 936-4431
PC Royal Brown 926-8934
The RCIPS is distributing these numbers in an effort to ensure that all people on the Sister Islands, both residents and visitors, feel that they have the information needed to be in contact with the police at any time.
The RCIPS also encourages the public to download and use the new RCIPS Mobile App, which is available on the Apple App and Google Play Store, and features notifications regarding press releases, road closures and traffic blockages, along with the numbers of all police stations and community officers - which can be dialed with one tap.
