Yesterday, 11 July, shortly after 1:00PM, officers responded to a report that a member of the public had spotted a firearm in the vicinity of Smith Cove, George Town. Officers attended the scene and recovered the firearm, a handgun, which also contained a single round of ammunition. This is the ninth firearm recovered this year.
