Shortly before 4:00AM today, 19 September, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on West End East Road in Cayman Brac. A white Hyundai Santa Fe had been travelling eastbound when it left the roadway, collided with a vehicle parked nearby and then collided into a house, causing damage to both. Emergency Services attended the location and the driver of the vehicle was transported to the Faith Hospital for treatment for what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. He was subsequently discharged. No one else was injured in the incident.
The matter is currently under investigation.
