Single Vehicle Collision Involving a Motorcycle on Old Robin Road, North Side, 25 October

Just before 11PM on Saturday, 23 October, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a motor vehicle collision that took place along Old Robin Road in North Side.


The collision appeared to have involved a single motorcycle that collided in the bushes off the roadway. The rider was thrown from the motorcycle where he was seriously injured. Police rendered first aid to the male rider when they arrived on scene and he was later transported to the hospital by ambulance. He remains in the hospital where he is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening-injuries.


The matter is being investigated by the police, and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Traffic and Roads Policing Unit at 649-6254 or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
