Stolen Vehicles and License Plates

24th November, 2017 Police Headlines

Just before 12:30AM today, 24 November, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the vicinity of Raleigh Quay, West Bay. The vehicle, a silver Honda CR-V, was last seen being driven from the location by a male of dark complexion with low cut hair. The vehicle is described as having rust damage to the exterior, duct tape on the roof and a spare tire with a plug mounted on the rear.

Just before 7AM, today, 24 November, police responded to a report of a vehicle being stolen as a result of a burglary in the vicinity of Condor Road, Bodden Town. The vehicle, a dark beige Honda Accord, was last seen at 6:30PM on Thursday, 23 November. The burglary occurred overnight and the keys to the vehicle were also taken.

In addition to the above missing vehicles, police have received reports of three missing or stolen vehicle license plates over the last two days.

On Wednesday, 22 November, police received a report of the front and rear plates being taken from a vehicle parked on Seymour Road, George Town. The registration number is 111 733.

On Thursday morning, 23 November, police received a report of a front license plate being missing from a Kia Sorento in George Town. The registration number is 129 702.

This morning, 24 November, police received a report that a front license plate was taken from a Mitsubishi Lancer in George Town. The registration number is 176 906.

Police are asking anyone who sees or has any information about the whereabouts of these stolen vehicles, and anyone who sees a vehicle driving with these missing plates, to please call 9-1-1 or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222. They can also contact the RCIPS Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777 or the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 800-8477(TIPS) to remain anonymous.
