The RCIPS and Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture & Heritage are advising the public of the following road closures, taking place over the next two weekends, to facilitate this year’s Pirate’s Festival activities:
Friday, 10 November – Monday, 13 November
Albert Panton Street and the eastern section of Cardinall Avenue will be closed from 6:00PM on Friday, 10 November to 6:00AM on Monday, 13 November.
Saturday, 11 November
Seafarers Way will be closed between Warwick Drive and Fort Street. The intersections of Seafarers Way with Goring Avenue and Shedden Road will also be closed. From 1:00PM to 8:00PM.
Monday, 13 November
Seafarers Way will be closed between Goring Avenue and Cardinall Avenue. The intersection of Seafarers Way at Shedden Road will also be closed. From 4:00PM to 6:00PM.
Thursday, 16 November - Sunday, 19 November
Albert Panton Street and the eastern section of Cardinall Avenue will be closed from 6:00AM on Thursday, 16 November to 6:00PM on Sunday, 19 November.
Saturday, 18 November
Seafarers Way will be closed between Warwick Drive and Fort Street. The intersections of Seafarers Way with Goring Avenue and Shedden Road will also be closed. From 3:00PM to 8:00PM.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling in these areas during these times, and to obey any traffic signs, barriers, or instructions from officers present.
