The RCIPS is advising the public of the following road closures which will be taking place between 6:00AM and 1:00PM on Sunday, 12 November to facilitate the Remembrance Day parade.
Seafarers' Way, between Goring Avenue and Fort Street, will be closed from 6:00AM to 1:00PM
Additionally, there will be rolling closures at the below junctions beginning at 10:15 AM:
Elgin Avenue and Hospital Road
Elgin Avenue and Louise Llewellyn Way
Elgin Avenue and Shedden Road
The parade will travel from the George Town Police Station to Elmslie Memorial Church, and then back to the George Town Police Station, and each junction will be re-opened after the parade passes.
The RCIPS advises motorists to exercise caution when travelling in these areas during these times.
