UPDATE: Man Charged with Aggravated Burglary and Other Offences in Relation to Incidents from June 2

Update (29 November):

 

A man, age 42 of George Town, has been arrested and formally charged with Attempted Burglary, Possession of an Imitation Firearm with Intent to Commit an Offence, Damage to Property, Theft, Aggravated Burglary, and Robbery.

 

The charges are in relation to a series of incidents on 17 June, 2017, including an aggravated burglary which occurred in Patrick’s Island in Prospect; the attempted burglary of a premises off West Bay Road; and the theft of a motor vehicle from the parking lot of the Marriott Beach Resort on West Bay Road.

 

He appears in court this morning, 29 November.


Initial Release (5 March, 2018):

Two men, aged 17 and 23 of George Town, have been charged with Theft, Attempted Burglary, Damage to Property, two counts of Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm with Intent to Commit an Offence, Aggravated Burglary, and Robbery.

The charges stem from incidents on 17 June, 2017: the Aggravated Burglary which occurred in Patrick’s Island in Prospect; the Attempted Burglary of a premises off West Bay Road; and the theft of a motor vehicle from the parking lot of the Marriott Beach Resort on West Bay Road.

The men appeared in summary court this morning, 5 March.
