Wanted Man Gerado Connolly Arrested and In Custody, 21 January


Update: 21 January

Just after 10:15AM today, 21 January, wanted man Gerado Connolly was arrested by the police in the Hawkins Drive, George Town (see initial release here). During the arrest, the Connolly was combative towards the officers threatened them with a machete.


He was further arrested for several offenses including resisting arrest and causing fear or provocation of violence. He is currently in custody pending further investigation.


The RCIPS would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating this wanted man.




Initial Press Release: 16 January

Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of 32 year-old Gerado Connolly, also known as George or Peppa, of Bodden Town, who is wanted for burglary and robbery offences and has breached his bail conditions.


He is known to be violent and should not be approached by members of the public. The police are advising to instead call 9-1-1 upon sighting him.


He is around 6 foot tall, of slim to medium build, with shoulder length dreadlocks, and a tattoo on his neck.   He is known to be renting vehicles and frequents the West Bay, George Town and East End areas.


The public is being reminded that according to the Police Act (2021 Revision), it is an offense to obstruct, mislead or act in such a way as to prevent the apprehension of a person who has committed an offense.  If prosecuted under this section, you may be liable on conviction to a fine of $5000 or imprisonment for two years or both.


Investigators are encouraging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Connolly to call 9-1-1 as soon as possible.
