UPDATE (19 March):
Shortly after 11:10AM on Tuesday, 18 March, officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a church on Bodden Town Road, where the suspect had just fled the scene on foot. The officers responding to the location observed a man who matched the description of the suspect, running towards Coe Wood Beach. Officers pursued the suspect and detained him nearby.
The suspect is identified as Luis Soler who is wanted by police for breaching court bail and for questioning in relation to other similar offences. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary and remains in custody as investigations continue.
Initial Release (7 March):
Police are seeking information from the public to assist in locating wanted man, Luis Abel Soler, age 25 of George Town.
Mr. Soler is described as being of light complexion, with short black hair and brown eyes.
He is wanted for breaching court bail following a burglary charge. Members of the public are being warned not to approach him but instead to call 911 immediately when he is sighted.
Additionally, the public is being advised that it is an offence to obstruct the police by hiding a wanted person or deliberately misleading the police during the execution of their duty.
