The 78-year-old-woman who passed away on 24 September following a water-related incident (see incident below), can now be identified as Zofia Prathers of California USA.
The RCIPS would like to extend condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

Shortly before 10:20 this morning, 24 September, police and emergency services responded to a report of a person in distress. A woman had been snorkeling in the waters off West Bay Road in the vicinity of Royal Palms, when she encountered difficulties. She was assisted to shore by members of the public and subsequently transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The woman is a 78-year-old visitor.
