West Bay Beat Officers Organize Community Beautification Projects, 11 June

West Bay beat officers continue to work alongside the community on development and beautification projects throughout the district.

 

Last week the officers partnered with the Department of Environmental Health to assist with the on-going project of ridding the community of derelict vehicles, as shown in the picture attached.

 

Community beautification project not only assist the community outwardly, but they also assist with environmental issues such as pest such as rodents, and projects like the removal of abandoned building reduces drug use and other crimes in the communities.

 

The Community Policing Department will continue to work closely with the community to assist with issues that face each individual community.
