On Saturday, 22 September, our West Bay Community Officers joined with young men from the Bonaventure Boys Home in West Bay for a day of fun and interaction. The day started off with fellowship and discussion between the officers, students, and staff of the home. Afterwards the officers competed against the boys in a game of basketball, where the students emerged victorious. This was followed by a six-a-side football match. The boys won the first game 4-2, and the officers followed up by securing a 4-3 win.
After the games the officers offered some words of encouragement to the boys, who were reminded that the ultimate goal of the RCIPS is to see them become outstanding members of the community. The officers were informed that they are welcome back at any time and numerous other activities are planned for the future.
