PC 210 Joel Ebanks is a Community Police Officer in the West Bay district and is responsible for Beat 12, where he is supervised by PS Leslie Laing-Hall.
He has built relationships with the residents and business owners in Beat 12 and has formed partnerships with outside agencies such as the Department of Environment, Department of Environmental Health, Youth Services Unit and Department of Agriculture to assist with and facilitate solutions to social issues in his beat.
PC Ebanks regularly patrols his beat and does meet and greets with residents and others who work and spend time in his beat. He wants to hear the concerns and opinions of residents in Beat 12. He also partners with the other beat officers in the West Bay District on major projects that impact the West Bay Community as a whole.
PC Ebanks has worked on several beautification projects in Cayman where he has successfully removed derelict vehicles from neighbourhoods that have been encouraging pests as well as anti social behaviour.
PC Ebanks is looking forward to hearing from those in Beat 12 and working on the issues he identifies.

PC 210 Joel Ebanks is the Community Police Officer in charge of Beat 12 which runs from Mount Pleasant Drive all the way to the Papagallos area.
Shortly after 5:10PM yesterday, 24 October, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a barber shop in the vicinity of Mount Pleasant Road and Batabano Road in West Bay. It was reported that a masked man entered the shop brandishing machete, and took a bag containing personal items and cash from a person at the location.
Shortly after 1:50PM yesterday, 11 April, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report of an armed robbery at a construction site on Adonis Drive in West Bay. It was reported that two men, one carrying a firearm, had robbed a man at the site of a significant quantity of cash.
