On Friday, 28 September, a 60-year-old-woman of West Bay was arrested on suspicion of theft and false accounting, in connection with the theft of a large sum of money from the Cayman Islands Turtle Centre, amounting to over KYD$82,000 and over USD $288,000.
The woman has been granted bail as the investigation is progressed by the Financial Crimes Unit.
