Further to the below, the man, age 49 of Bodden Town, who was arrested on 23 September has now been formally charged with Wounding. He appears in court this morning, 25 September.
On Sunday, 23 September, at about 12:30AM, officers responded to a report of a wounding outside a bar on Shedden Road, east of Eastern Avenue. It was reported that after leaving the bar, two men were involved in an altercation and both sustained injuries. One of the men received a wound to the face. Both men attended the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment and one of the men, age 49 of Bodden Town, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of wounding. He remains in police custody. The other man was treated and subsequently released from hospital.
